Q & A on video #13 – if i rewind my life, what would i do or not do, say or not say?
rewatching this i look like im trying to be fancy and name-dropping. so not intentional. for those who know me in real life, i dont talk biz hardly at ALL, in fact i dated someone for a month or two before they finally asked me point blank, so WHAT DO YOU DO?? i dont generally broach the subject because its sort of superfluous to importance of connecting in life. the last thing i want to start spouting off about are my credits, but i do love to recount a story… cause im usually as amazed by the weirdness and absurdity i often find in my life as others are.
yes, i’ve made more than my fair share of mistakes. way more. and in some way tried to balance it all with good deeds and an open heart. would i trade the wackiness of my experiences for those of someone else?? absolutely not. my gram said she couldn’t believe she was STILL learning lessons right up to the end… i definitely agree there’s so much to be learned from every moment in life, good and bad, big or minute. does one trade the suffering, only to lose out on the lessons and revelation on the other side of that? my life is my life, i could have moved faster, done bigger things, been a more honest person, applied my gifts more, ate less sugar, been a better friend, but i’m still here and have still managed to avoid a desk job, so i’ve done something ‘right’ i guess. though the more im doing on my computer, the more im starting to feel like managing my everyday life IS a desk job lol.
she had asked me years ago why i stopped writing (for about 4or 5 years), so im enjoying these moments of commentary and bloggyness because they remind me of her. one big addition to this question is that if i had known she was going to pass so quickly after i left her bedside, i would have stayed there every minute. but then, if i had done that, she probably would have lingered in pain for much longer. life is full of ‘what-if?’s. in order to move forward, im looking to fill my life with ‘why not?’s.
